Using AI to help CRM implementation problems?
I have spoken to quite a number of nonprofit organizations about problems with their CRM implementations, so I can usually help when someone new comes to me. But what if I were a nonprofit exec having problems in my own organization, and I didn’t have the money to hire someone like Adartova Consulting?
Enter AI.
ChatGPT can do some cool manipulation tasks, and many are free. I created this mind map, a breakdown of possible problems in CRM implementation, in four easy steps:
It’s pretty good. There are a few areas that, based on my experience, I would highlight as bigger problems, such as “Costs to unwind excessive personalization” under “6.1 Hidden Costs.” But ChatGPT did capture the problem under “5.1 Over-Customization,” so I can’t complain too much.
I credit Rundown AI University for this shortcut. The four free, easy steps are:
Go to ChatGPT and enter the prompt “Create a mind map of the potential problems with CRM implementation. List topics as central ideas, main branches, and sub-branches.”
Tell ChatGPT to “Create this same mind map in markdown format.”
Copy the code by clicking “Copy Code” in the corner.
Go over to Try markmap at GitHub’s js.org pages, paste in the code, and voila!
You would be surprised how many complicate, code-intensive tasks you can do yourself with only minimal tech knowledge. It’s a powerful way to extend the reach, capabilities and effectiveness of your team while reducing workload.
